The Government of said State, under whose guarantee the emigration takes place, is offering to AUTHENTIC FARMERS a future/dream whose advantages are the following:

The males, head of the family
20 American gold dollars, each month, during the first year of work
21 American gold dollars, each month, during the second year
22 American gold dollars, each month, during the third year

The women, their wives
12 gold dollars a month

The rest of the members of their families, age 15 and higher, shall receive 13 dollars a month if they are male and 10 if they are female.

When they disembark, they will receive a magnificent house (that is worth more than 500 gold pesos) with water and electricity and free schooling, where the younger children will receive lessons (these are obligatory)

After three years of work, with good conduct and during which they have demonstrated that they are good workers (in particular with respect to Sugar Cane), they will receive completely free and in their own name with no cost whatsoever, the house in which they are living as well as a FANEGA [approx. 1.5 acres] of land…
