I guess I should set the example, so here is my memory.
I remember one Christmas back when I was very young we were at Uncle Tony and Aunt Flo's home in San Francisco. When Santa came to pass out presents to us kids, there wasn't one for me. He told me to go look in the bath tub, and low and behold there was my prized baby doll buggy.
[spoiler: I believe Uncle Fritz was Santa]

I will always remember the advice of Auntie Carmen. She once told me that I should not to wait to do the things I want, but that I should do them while I can.
So, after 20 years I finally decided to buy the car I wanted. It’s a red convertible with only 4 seatbelts, and my whole family is happy for me. In honor of Auntie Carmen, I named the car after her so I'd never forget her words of wisdom.

Here is Linda Borrmann's contribution to Ortega Family Memories:
My earliest memory of the Ortega family are the weekend get-togethers held at my grandparents' house. The brothers and sisters, and perhaps some other family members of those who had married, would all sit around the living room in a circle and talk and later enjoy great food cooked by Grandma or one of the wives. I was very shy at the time and usually dreaded these occasions unless my cousin Dorothy was going to be there and I would have someone to play with. I would have to brace myself as she would always come flying in at 90 mph and throw her arms around me sometimes knocking me off my feet.

My son Benjamin is 30, nearly 34 at this time, but when he was just a wee little man, Santa came to our home during a Christmas party. Santa talked to the children, the children opened their hearts and shared their hopes and desires. When all was said and done, Ben came up to his father and me with huge eyes and that look of having discovered something vastly important. He confessed with wonder and admiration, as with the thrill of discovering that Clark Kent is Superman: "I think Uncle (Cousin) Gordon is Santa Clause!"
